Russia sure is on Iran's side on the Syria issue. And they are both making the US look like the bad guy.
"Russia has accused the US of not contributing to a political settlement of the Syria crisis but rather seeking to divide the war-torn Arab country."
Turkey doesn't want the Kurds to have their own country so close to them.
That is putting the US and Kurds at odds with Turkey.

Iran sure has stirred up Russia against the US threatening to end the Iran nuclear deal.
"The possible collapse of the 2015 Iran nuclear deal would send an "alarming" message to the world, says Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, advising signatories of the deal against abandoning it to pursue their own interests."
