Is the US itching for a fight with Iran before the election?
Who will be the next president, Clinton or Trump?
The prophecy is about a male leader of the US attacking
Persia [Iran].
Who has more of the personality to do that, Obama or Trump?
US itching for a fight in Persian Gulf: Scholar
"Press TV has interviewed Wahid Azal, independent scholar and political commentator from Berlin, about the intrusion of US warships into Iranian territorial waters in the Strait of Hormuz."
"Azal: Well, this is a long-standing strategy and modus operandi of the Americans going back for as long as anybody can remember. I mean, going back even 40, 50 years in these either international or Iranian territorial waters, there’s always been either American or British naval brigades violating these waters. A lot of it has to do with the actual passages of the Strait of Hormuz itself, the passages where a lot of tankers go through. A lot of these very small areas are not resolved in international law completely, but there is an assumption under international law it is actually belonging to Iran."
"Press TV: Mahmoud Alavi, the intelligence minister of Iran, has said that there’ve been many terrorist groups who have been caught and he says that there is evidence that foreign secret service agencies are supporting them. So, how important are all these Iranian stances? What kind of a message does this send to the world?
Azal: Well, what it is saying is that the United States is itching for a fight. So far Iran has been incredibly restraint on all of it, I have to say, but they are breaching territorial waters like this. The evidence is that they’ve done this with impunity in the past; basically said that they’re trying to go to run into an open fight."
"Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan says the movement affiliated to US-based opposition cleric Fethullah Gulen would be treated as “another separatist terrorist organization” in the wake of last Friday’s failed coup attempt against his government."
"“We will continue the fight... wherever they might be. These people have infiltrated the state organizations in this country and they rebelled against the state," Erdogan said in an exclusive interview with Reuters in the capital Ankara on Thursday, describing the botched putsch as “inhuman” and “immoral.”
"Tens of thousands of demonstrators have come out on the streets in Turkey's biggest city of Istanbul for the fifth night in a row to show support for the government in the wake of last Friday’s failed military coup.
People converged on Taksim Square on Wednesday night, waving Turkish national flags and chanting slogans in support of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP)."
"Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has declared a three-month state of emergency following a failed coup in the country.
During a live speech delivered from Ankara on Wednesday, Erdogan said the state of emergency was required “to remove swiftly all the elements of the terrorist organization involved in the coup attempt.”
He further promised that the special measures, which vastly increase state security powers, would not be a “compromise on democracy""
"“The aim is to rapidly and effectively take all steps needed to eliminate the threat against democracy, the rule of law and the people's rights and freedoms," he added."
"Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim said on Monday that Pennsylvania-based Fethullah Gulen must be extradited without preconditions, implying that Ankara’s ties with Washington are at stake."

The failed coup attempt is proving to be
exactly what Erdogan needed to really clean house quickly! Vast Purge in Turkey as Thousands Are Detained in Post-Coup Backlash
"ISTANBUL — The Turkish government’s crackdown after a military coup attempt widened into a sweeping purge on Monday, cutting a swath through the security services and reaching deeply into the government bureaucracy and the political and business classes.
The sheer numbers being detained or dismissed were stunning: nearly 18,000 in all, including 6,000 members of the military, almost 9,000 police officers, as many as 3,000 judges, 30 governors and one-third of all generals and admirals, as well as President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s own military attaché."

"Regional rivals Sunni Saudi Arabia and Shiite Iran, in a rare show of consensus, welcomed Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s regained control after the failed military coup attempt against his government.
However, Iran has claimed the Saudi Kingdom was “involved” in the insurrection led by several segments of the Turkish army, which considers itself the guardian of the country’s secular constitution."

A king (President) is to become
higher than Khamenei
Watch Erdogan! He's becoming very powerful in Turkey. Turkish lawmakers pass first reading of constitutional amendments "The system, also known as executive presidency, will allow the president to serve two five-year tenures. Erdogan could thus end up staying in office for two more terms until 2029, with the next elections scheduled for 2019."
