Some of the things we are watching for are things indicating a riff between
the US and Turkey and things showing tension between the US vs Iran and Turkey
"Hossein Salami is deputy head of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, which is under the command of the country’s Supreme Leader."
"The deputy commander of Iran’s powerful Revolutionary Guard said the country has over 100,000 missiles in Lebanon alone readied for the “annihilation” of Israel."
"Press TV has conducted an interview with Tony Gosling, an investigative journalist from Bristol, about Tehran's criticism of US seizure of frozen Iranian assets.
The following is a rough transcription of the interview. Press TV: Iran is irate that it is having assets seized behind a bombing which the country had no due process to defend itself against the allegation of having involvement in it, your thoughts?
Gosling: Well, this is a bit tricky of the Americans, isn't it, to freeze this money -- two billion dollars, easy to say -- but it's a tremendous amount of money under the sanctions regime. And then as the sanctions are being relaxed, rather than hand the money back now it (the US) wants to steal it for itself. It's just reluctant to go along with the agreements that it's made under the sanctions about this money. The Iranian foreign minister has quite rightly called this "highway robbery."
"Iran criticizes measures approved by the US House of Representatives to block the sale of Boeing aircraft to Tehran, saying Washington is duty-bound to put right all measures that are inconsistent with last year’s nuclear agreement between the Islamic Republic and six global powers.
“What is important to the Islamic Republic of Iran is the opposite side’s commitment to its obligations [under the nuclear agreement], and we have nothing to do with the US domestic issues,” Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qasemi said on Friday.
He went on to say that the Islamic Republic “regards the US government responsible for Washington's fulfillment of its commitments.”
“Sensitivities and inter-party blackmailing in the US on the verge of the country's presidential election are understandable,” he added."
"The unnamed Iranian official was quoted by IRNA as saying that UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has never participated in the nuclear negotiations between Iran and the P5+1 group of countries and must not discuss issues in his biannual report that are in contradiction to the very contents of the nuclear agreement, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
The official made the remarks in response to the confidential report which was cited by Reuters on Thursday. The story by Reuters quoted the UN chief as saying that Iran's ballistic missile launches “are not consistent with the constructive spirit” of the JCPOA."
"Resolution 2231 adopted on July 20, 2015 provides for the termination of the provisions of previous Security Council resolutions on the Iranian nuclear program and establishes specific restrictions that apply to all states without exception.
The resolution calls upon Iran not to undertake any activity related to ballistic missiles designed to be capable of delivering nuclear weapons, including launches using such ballistic missile technology."
"TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called for cooperation with Iran in the fight against terrorism, saying Ankara favors enhancement of relations with Tehran."
" The Turkish president and his Iranian opposite number Hassan Rouhani talked by phone on Tuesday on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, the major Islamic festival that marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
Thanking Iran for expressing sympathy with Turkey over recent terrorist attacks in Istanbul, Erdogan highlighted the necessity for concerted action against terrorists.
“Through mutual cooperation, we can eradicate terrorism,” he said, calling for close interaction between Turkish and Iranian bodies in battling terrorism.
The Iranian president, for his part, said joint action by Iran and Turkey and more serious moves will “undoubtedly” eradicate terrorism in the region.
He also called for immediate implementation of the agreement that Iran and Turkey have recently signed for cooperation, saying it will mark a major step in the enhancement of bilateral ties."

Russia and Iran have better alliances and
this could lead to better alliances between
Iran, Russia, and Turkey. Turkey proposes cooperation with Russia in fighting Islamic State
"ANKARA/MOSCOW (Reuters) - Turkey said on Monday it wanted to cooperate with Moscow in combating Islamic State in Syria but denied having suggested it might allow Russia to use its Incirlik Air Base, near the Syrian frontier.
Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan last week expressed regret over last year's shooting down of a Russian warplane, with the loss of the pilot. Moscow, which had broken off virtually all economic ties and banned tourists from visiting Turkish resorts, pledged in return to help rebuild relations."
"YERUSHALAYIM - A senior security official was quoted by Israel Radio Tuesday as saying that the reconciliation agreement between Israel and Turkey would help battle the growing influence of Iran in the Middle East. According to the official, both Israel and Turkey have a common interest in preventing Iran from increasing its influence in Syria and Lebanon, and the pact between the two countries will enhance cooperation for both countries on the Iran issue."

How does the US like Turkey and Iran working together?
Iran and Turkey fight common enemies KRG urges Turkey, Iran stop bombing Kurdistan Region
"ERBIL, Kurdistan Region (Kurdistan24) – On Sunday, the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) asked both Turkey and Iran to stop bombing the Kurdistan Region, and urged Kurdish opposition parties not to use the Region’s soil to attack neighboring countries.
The Republic of Turkey and the Islamic Republic of Iran have started to shell the Kurdistan Region border, aiming to target Kurdish rebel groups. These groups include the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) and Kurdistan Democratic Party – Iran (PDKI) fighters."
"Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif says Muslims should unite and show to the West that they can fight terrorism and extremism on their own. "
"The Belgium-based Turkish global energy firm Unit International has reached an agreement with the Iranian Energy Ministry to build seven natural gas-powered combined-cycle power plants worth $4.2 billion in Iran."
"All this is good news for Turkey and Iran. Although Turkish-Iranian trade rose to $21.9 billion in 2012, the US-induced global sanctions on the Islamic Republic and the chill between Ankara and Tehran over Syria brought that figure below $10 billion by 2015. On June 16, Turkish Customs and Trade Minister Bulent Tufenkci stated that Ankara wants to “triple trade with Iran to $30 billion as quickly as possible.”"

A king (President) is to become
higher than Khamenei
Watch Erdogan! He's becoming very powerful in Turkey. Turkish lawmakers pass first reading of constitutional amendments "The system, also known as executive presidency, will allow the president to serve two five-year tenures. Erdogan could thus end up staying in office for two more terms until 2029, with the next elections scheduled for 2019."
