Ayatollah Khamenei warns of enemy plots to stop Iran progress
"Ayatollah Khamenei stressed the importance of increasing the country’s capabilities.
“I have repeatedly reiterated that the country must grow in power and that we must promote our potentialities,” the Leader pointed out, adding that it is only then that Iranian officials can expect the nation to have peace of mind.
Ayatollah Khamenei pointed to the threats by some US presidential hopefuls to scrap last year’s nuclear agreement, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), between Iran and the P5+1 group of countries, saying the Islamic Republic will strongly respond to any such move.
“We will not violate the JCPOA, but if the opposite side violates it - as US presidential candidates are currently threatening to tear up the JCPOA - if they tear up the JCPOA, we will burn it,” the Leader stated."

U.S. Taxpayers Are Funding Iran's Military Expansion
"The U.S. paid a $1.7 billion settlement to end a long-standing dispute over arms sales. Now we know how Tehran will spend it."
"One of the unexpected results of President Barack Obama's new opening to Iran is that U.S. taxpayers are now funding both sides of the Middle East's arms race. The U.S. is deliberately subsidizing defense spending for allies like Egypt and Israel. Now the U.S. is inadvertently paying for some of Iran's military expenditures as well."

‘Isolated’ Turkey Sours On U.S., Islamic Megabank Next?
"Turkey may increasingly tap neighbors in the Middle East for Islamic bond investment as sentiment toward the West, especially Europe and the United States, sours."
"Here's an explanation published today on geopolitics and growing mistrust of the west in Turkey,  from Eurasia Group analysts Naz Masraff and James Sawyer. They write:
""Turkish-US relations will be strained over two main issues: differences of opinion over the role of the Kurdish Democratic Union Party (PYD) in Syria and Washington’s reluctance to extradite President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s former ally, the exiled Islamic preacher Fethullah Gulen, to Turkey to face charges of establishing an armed terrorist organization.
Although Ankara’s worsening ties with Moscow were expected to push the country closer to NATO and the US, this has not happened. Turkey will therefore continue to be internationally isolated ..."

Turkey’s Erdogan slams Washington over US soldiers' use of YPG emblem

"Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has criticized the United States over American troops wearing insignia of Syrian Kurdish People’s Protection Unit (YPG) during an operation in Syria.
In a Saturday speech in the mainly-Kurdish city of Diyarbakir, Erdogan “condemned” Washington as not being “honest.”
“Those who are our friends, those who are with us in NATO, should not and cannot send their soldiers to Syria with the sign of the YPG,” said Erdogan."
"The YPG has been engaged in battle with Daesh for months, shutting down their supply routes from Turkey into Syria near Raqqah, which is the de facto capital of the terrorist group.
Turkey accuses the YPG of being linked to the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) militant group, which has been engaged in a three-decade fight for autonomy in Turkey's Kurdish-dominated southeast."

Interesting move by Iran.
The US hurt Iran years ago so why not sue the US
for those things? If US can sue Iran can Iran sue the US?
Iran has over 190 cases ready to sue US: MP
"A senior Iranian legislator has called on those who have sustained losses as a result of US hostile moves over the past decades to sue Washington in retaliation.
The US Supreme Court ruled last month that Iran's assets frozen in a bank account should be turned over to American families of those killed in a 1983 bombing in Beirut and other attacks blamed on Iran.
Iran has denied any role in the attack, and the money confiscated under the US court ruling belongs to the Central Bank of Iran (CBI). The assets have been blocked under US sanctions.
MP Alaeddin Boroujerdi said Iranians should sue the US over losses during the 1953 coup by the CIA and the years after the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
“We expect all those who have suffered losses during the Mordad 29 coup and years after the Islamic Revolution to file a lawsuit so that we can give a befitting response to the recent US encroachment,” he said."

Ayatollah Khamenei rebuffed the US government’s demands that Iran should not hold military drills in the Persian Gulf."
"“It is the Americans who should explain why they have come here from that corner of the world to mount exercises,” the Leader said."
"“This is how bullying powers must be countered,” added Ayatollah Khamenei."
