What we are watching for is Iran and another country
(which looks to be Turkey) to push to the west, north
and south. In early 2016 Iran and Turkey were supporting
opposite sides in the Syrian war while also claiming to be
fighting the common foe often referred to as ISIS
(or Daesh).
It has been so interesting to see How Iran and Turkey
have come to unite much more closely.
We can much more easily see Iran and Turkey pushing
to the west, north, and south.

‘Isolated’ Turkey Sours On U.S., Islamic Megabank Next?
"Turkey may increasingly tap neighbors in the Middle East for Islamic bond investment as sentiment toward the West, especially Europe and the United States, sours."
"Here's an explanation published today on geopolitics and growing mistrust of the west in Turkey,  from Eurasia Group analysts Naz Masraff and James Sawyer. They write:
""Turkish-US relations will be strained over two main issues: differences of opinion over the role of the Kurdish Democratic Union Party (PYD) in Syria and Washington’s reluctance to extradite President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s former ally, the exiled Islamic preacher Fethullah Gulen, to Turkey to face charges of establishing an armed terrorist organization.
Although Ankara’s worsening ties with Moscow were expected to push the country closer to NATO and the US, this has not happened. Turkey will therefore continue to be internationally isolated ..."

This is a step in the right direction
towards fulfillment of prophecy.
Turkey wants to have a better alliance with Iran and Russia.
In this article we read an Iranian political analyst
does not think the US wants to see that happen.
Forbidden Alliance: US Won't Let Russia, Turkey, Iran Unite Against Daesh
"Washington is trying to deter any possible alliance between Russia, Turkey and Iran on Syria: if the three countries unite their efforts against the terrorists, the jihadists will easily be defeated and the US will thereby lose its ability to destabilize the region, Iranian political analyst and former journalist Hassan Hanizadeh told Sputnik."
"Meanwhile, Washington is using the terrorist groups operating on the ground in Syria as a tool to divide the countries of the region. Thus, the political editor added, the US is interested in keeping relations between Turkey and Russia strained and in stirring tensions between Iran and Turkey."
"His comments come in reference to the recent remarks of Turkish Armed Forces’ former Chief of Staff Ilker Basbug, who called for cooperation between Russia, Iran and Turkey on Syria."
